Tough Mudder Returns to Dallas for 2016 Event
Tough Mudder Dallas returns to a new venue at Viridian in Arlington, TX, returning to the region for the fifth time on October 22 & 23, 2016
Tough Mudder, the premier 10-12 mile obstacle course challenge designed to test physical & mental strength, stamina and teamwork, has announced its fifth return to the Dallas region on October 22 & 23, 2016. Following a highly successful event in 2015, which brought over 7,000 participants to the region, the company will head to a new venue with brand-new obstacles in 2016. For the first time, Viridian, a master-planned community will host the Tough Mudder Dallas event.

- Location: Tough Mudder Dallas will take place at Viridian in Arlington, TX on October 22 & 23, 2016. Viridian is located just 30 minutes from Dallas and 10 minutes from the Cowboys’ stomping ground.
- Obstacles: Tough Mudder Dallas will feature 18-20 epic new and returning signature obstacles that will test physical and mental grit and require teamwork like never before.
- Block Ness Monster: Mudders have to push, pull, and roll their way through a series of slick, rotating barriers. With a little help from your friends, you can rock and roll your way through Tough Mudder's newest obstacle, taking teamwork to a whole new level.
- Pyramid Scheme: It requires a bit of plotting, but unlike its namesake, this obstacle is all about teamwork. Start knee-deep in a muddy trench and scramble, climb, and push your way up a slippery incline with the help of your fellow Mudders. Even with an added strip of Merrell’s stickiest rubber sole rolled across its mid-section, this is one obstacle you can’t go alone.
- King of the Swingers: Remember that rope swing you built as a kid? Ours is bigger. Leap from a 12 foot platform to catch the swing arm and reach with all your might to tap the bell dangling from above. Many will attempt - few will make that sweet bell-ringing music.
- Finish Experience: All Tough Mudder participants will receive a custom performance finisher t-shirt from Merrell, as well as a finisher headband and an ice cold Shock Top beer.
Tough Mudder Dallas will also play host to Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, a one-mile obstacle course designed for kids ages 7-12. With obstacles like Mini Everest, Secret Agent Squeeze and Gooey Shoes, Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder gives kids the chance to work as a team, get muddy and experience the thrill of adventure.
